Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Accurately maintain electronic logs, trip reports, and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Overnight shift availability is mandatory
