Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on established routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (eBOLs)
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Strong knowledge of Midwest geography and route navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No preventable accidents in the past 12 months
