Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry vans) on regional routes covering TN, KY, GA, and AL
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for on-time deliveries and load planning
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Perform minor preventive maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- 2+ years commercial driving experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- High school diploma or equivalent
