Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timing
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Secure cargo properly and verify shipment documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NM/AZ/TX highway systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips (2-3 nights/week)
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
