Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided tractors and trailers for regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance needs before/during shifts
- Safely load/unload shipments with proper securing techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat placards and regulations (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of St. Louis metro area geography
- Excellent time management and communication skills
