Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently across the St. Louis metro area and regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Utilize GPS and electronic logging systems for optimal route planning and compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and maintain schedule integrity
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and freight handling records
- Represent Global Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for customer and team interactions
- Physical ability to load/unsecure freight as needed
