Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport freight to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling throughout transit
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse staff
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
