Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, aggregates, and debris to job sites
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with foremen and dispatch teams for efficient route planning
- Ensure cargo securement and site-specific unloading procedures
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to obtain TWIC card and pass background check
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding counties
- Physical ability to climb equipment and work in various weather conditions
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- DOT medical certification required
