Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated) to transport goods on established routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Respond professionally to route changes and delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and border crossing procedures
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
