Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for local/regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with forklift assistance
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and delivery records
- Communicate with dispatch for real-time updates
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (North Carolina)
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no DUIs in past 5 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Basic forklift certification preferred
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts
- Must live within 50 miles of Denver, NC
