Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, or flatbed) for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Represent the company professionally at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay area and Florida roadways
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging (ELD)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
