Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional freight transport
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Operate in various weather conditions while maintaining on-time deliveries
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility for overnight regional trips
