Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for regional deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document DOT compliance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Secure cargo and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Tennessee roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb truck steps
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts
