Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, courteous, and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
