Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Texas and the Midwest
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience in dry van or refrigerated transport
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
- Team player with excellent communication skills
