Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A & B) in strict accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logbooks (ELD) and daily mileage reports.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring all freight is secure and accounted for.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route plans to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements (Class A or B).
- Clear driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting.
- United States work authorization and eligibility to work.
