Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for regional routes within Ohio and surrounding states
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Secure and unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be at least 23 years old
