Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) for regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adapt to changing schedules and route adjustments efficiently
- Complete necessary paperwork for shipments and deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
