Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and proper securing techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations and delivery logs (ELD/Elogs).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing seatbelts and following hazardous material procedures when applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation and weight calculations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
