Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Maintain meticulous logs and adhere to FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and delivery timing
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for compliance tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Washington state roadways and hazmat regulations (plus certification)
- Proficient with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight regional routes (1-3 nights per week)
