Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Deliver freight to multiple destinations on strict schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Ensure secure cargo handling and delivery verification
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass DOT physical
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and route planning
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
