Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport freight throughout San Diego County and Southern California
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle secure cargo and verify delivery documentation with recipients
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic regulations
- Experience with electronic logging devices and freight documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
