Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Deliver freight to distribution centers in Raleigh-Durham area
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery confirmations
- Participate in quarterly safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with NC highway regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
