Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized freight
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Arizona roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and bills of lading
