Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and accurately, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (Clean driving record required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with local Philadelphia area routes and geography.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
