Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and route changes
- Complete required paperwork and electronic logging systems
- Represent the company professionally with all clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Tampa Bay area and Florida highway systems
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb trailer decks
