Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 90 days.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (local/regional preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUI/DWI or major traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
