Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and post-trip vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic ordinances
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC metro area geography
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/late night shifts
