Your Responsibilities
As a Driver with Swift Logistics, you are the face of our company. Your primary focus is safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and required paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers and dispatch teams to ensure service excellence.
- Keep the truck interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
