Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently within Milwaukee and surrounding areas.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
