Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify potential mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers, resolving issues professionally and promptly.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning to ensure on-time performance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a professional environment.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
