Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within the Mid-South
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and delivery adjustments
- Document all delivery paperwork and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience preferred)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience with refrigerated freight or flatbed operations (a plus)
- TWIC card holder or willingness to obtain (for port access)
