Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and delivery vans in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logbooks.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and roadside assistance requirements immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
