Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Georgia
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding route status
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Operate in all weather conditions while prioritizing on-time deliveries
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of Georgia roadways and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
