Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) in urban and regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Implement defensive driving in metropolitan traffic
- Maintain clean driving record and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC traffic patterns
- Basic navigation skills using GPS systems
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 50 lbs
