Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles delivering freight across Washington state
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and delivery documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist in freight handling and securement procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years verifiable history)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington state highway systems
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside inspections
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:00 AM)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
