Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers) across the Nashville metro area and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Deliver freight on time with precise route optimization and GPS navigation
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with dispatch for real-time load adjustments and customer communications
- Participate in quarterly safety training and defensive driving workshops
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and withstand extended driving periods
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Nashville/Tennessee roadways and weather considerations
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
