Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated delivery locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and accurate documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers and verify delivery accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred (Apprentice program available for qualified new drivers).
- Current DOT Medical Card and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
