Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logbooks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations with efficient time management
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Operate in various weather conditions while prioritizing safety
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong understanding of HOS regulations and cargo securement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
