Job Overview
As a CDL Driver at Apex Transport, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the state. We offer both local and regional routes to fit your lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
- Experience with logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to safety.
