Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes across California
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and oversized loads
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Document delivery discrepancies and maintain shipment documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California roadways and weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb/descend equipment safely
