As a CDL Driver at Prime Transport, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our clients' freight arrives safely and on time. We are looking for dedicated individuals who take pride in their work and want to build a long-term career in logistics.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans according to DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with proper endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) or willing to obtain one.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
