Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight to prevent damage.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/Elog) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.
- Uphold a clean driving record and a professional image at all times.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management to ensure operational success.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements.
- A current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional road networks in Arizona.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with cargo handling.
- Proven experience in long-haul or local truck driving is highly preferred.
