Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) in accordance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Maintain vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time management
- Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery points
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient routing
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- No DUIs or preventable accidents in past 3 years
