Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on local and regional delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate Daily Logs (ELD) and documentation in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and schedule changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
