Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within California
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs using electronic logging devices
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack)
- Deliver goods on schedule while maintaining customer satisfaction standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in safety training and maintain clean driving record
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or refrigerated trailers
- Familiarity with California roadways and delivery zones
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement techniques
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Must be 25+ years of age with verifiable employment history
