Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated routes in Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical soundness
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Handle freight with care and professionalism at all delivery points
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel (1-3 nights weekly)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
