Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Minimize fuel consumption through efficient driving practices and route optimization
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX
