Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe, efficient, and legal manner.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT), and company regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Absolutely no major violations or accidents on driving record (MVR).
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
