Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across North Carolina
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients for timely deliveries
- Maintain clean driving record and zero tolerance for safety violations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of North Carolina roadways and delivery routes
- Must be available for immediate start and flexible scheduling
